Eric serves as the firm’s National E-Discovery Counsel, and is responsible for advising the firm and its clients on legal issues and best practices related to e-discovery, as well as overseeing the firm’s litigation support group.

Eric is an active member of The Sedona Conference, Working Group 1 (Electronic Document Retention and Production), where he has served on multiple drafting committees.  Eric is also an active participant in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) industry trade group. He is the reporter of the EDRM Model Code of Conduct, and has served as co-chair of Model Code of Conduct project since 2009. As a frequent lecturer on the topic of e-disovery, Eric has developed a series of educational programs, and has taught Continuing Legal Education courses related to e-discovery across the country.

Before joining the firm, Eric worked as an e-discovery consultant with two national litigation support vendors, where he engineered and supervised numerous domestic and international litigation and regulatory discovery projects.  He has been responsible for managing the identification, preservation, collection, and processing of terabytes of electronically stored information from thousands of custodians around the world.
