Kaisa is a senior associate in the firm’s Minneapolis office where she represents clients in all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts throughout the country.  Kaisa practices in the area of complex business litigation.  Her practice is focused on complex insurance disputes, representing insurers in a wide range of coverage matters.  Kaisa also has experience in litigation concerning securities lending programs.  She has written and presented on several insurance-related topics, including cyber risks, civil authority, and ingress/egress, among others.

Kaisa attended William Mitchell College of Law where she was on the Dean’s List, received CALI awards in Constitutional Law and Legal Practicum, and the Burton Award for Excellence in legal writing.  She took first place at the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court competition and was awarded Best Brief.  Kaisa was also a quarter finalist at the New York City National Moot Court competition. 

Prior to joining Zelle Hofmann, Kaisa served as a legislative monitor for the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy.  Kaisa currently partners with the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy in pro bono matters.
