Kaisa practices in the area of complex business litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Kaisa served as a legislative monitor for the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy and a research assistant for Professor Peter Erlinder at William Mitchell College of Law.

Kaisa attended William Mitchell College of Law where she held the positions of research chairperson for the Environmental Law Society, and Minnesota State Representative for the National Association of Environmental Law Societies.  She took first place at the Rosalie Wahl Moot Court competition and was awarded 'Best Brief.'  Kaisa was also a quarterfinalist at the New York City National Moot Court competition.

Nationwide Mutual Fire Insurance Co. v. Geo. V. Hamilton (non-products liability insurance dispute arising out of asbestos-related bodily claims, including enforcement of an arbitration provision under a previous cost-sharing agreement)

General Mills v. Five Star Custom Foods, Federal District Court, Minnesota (successful summary judgment and award of attorney's fees in contract dispute with supplier of meat products)
