Daniel J. Millea

Dan's practice is focused on complex civil litigation and his cases have been venued in federal and state courts throughout the country. Dan has developed a broad-based knowledge of the intricacies of the rules of civil procedure, class action jurisprudence and the substantive law related to property and liability insurance. He has worked with a number of insurers defending coverage actions related to major property damage and business interruption claims and environmental contamination. He has represented insurers in connection with claims and litigation arising from the 9/11 terrorist attack in New York and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.  Dan has also worked extensively on nationwide class action litigation involving trespass claims brought by landowners against telecommunications carriers and railroads related to the installation of fiber-optic cable along railroad rights of way.

Dan has extensive experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods. He has appeared before state and federal judges around the nation.
