Shannon is a partner in the firm’s Dallas office where she represents clients involved in catastrophe litigation.

Her practice is focused on analyzing complex and novel property insurance coverage issues that require a unique understanding of the intricacies of property insurance, especially in the field of business interruption.  Her work on matters arising from 9/11 and more recently, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, have given Shannon the experience to understand and unravel complex legal arguments that are raised in coverage cases, including cases that are so unique, there is no guiding law directly on point.

Shannon has also been a key component of a number of large, document-intensive cases, and has developed solutions to readily identify and organize key documents for use by the case's legal teams.

Shannon has also been heavily involved in the intricate issues raised by e-Discovery and has become the firm's e-Discovery resource in developing best practices for the firm and the firm’s clients.
