José M. Umbert
José handles a wide variety of complex litigation and arbitration matters. He represents (re)insurance companies in first-party coverage cases involving property damage and business interruption losses at energy, construction, industrial and commercial facilities. José also acts for (re)insurers in third-party liability coverage matters, and in subrogation and recovery actions. He has handled disputes in the U.S., many countries in Latin America, Spain, and North Africa. In addition, José has substantial experience in commercial litigation and antitrust matters. He has written and presented on a number of insurance coverage and antitrust issues.
