Richard G. Urquhart
When a refinery, chemical plant or industrial complex suffers a serious fire, explosion or other catastrophe, Dick Urquhart is frequently the attorney hired by the owner or its insurers. A seasoned trial lawyer, Dick is also a licensed professional engineer and he has been responsible for the design and operation of plant, pipeline, and offshore facilities.
Dick represents plant owners, insurers, and individuals as both plaintiff and defendant in coverage, products liability, tort, subrogation, and contract cases related to catastrophes and energy industry commercial disputes. Dick also represents individuals and corporations in patent litigation. He himself is the inventor of record on two offshore platform patents.
