Richard L. Voelbel

Richard Voelbel is an avid philanthropist, a complex dispute resolution specialist, a volunteer legal advisor to the American Refugee Committee, and a contemplative Christian. Voelbel has 30+ years of legal experience with specializations in complex reinsurance litigation, class action lawsuits, business ethics and arbitration. He served as Chair of the Mission Board for Colonial Church of Edina, as Board Member for the Colorado based Consortium for Community Centered Comprehensive Child Care (focus on children’s health care in Tanzania), and currently serves on the Board of Directors for ARC and The Barnabas Group-Minnesota. Voelbel continually seeks new ways to assist in paving a faith and human rights based path for humanity. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota and San Francisco, California with his wife Lynn, has three children Richard (wife Sarah), Mary and Joseph, and three grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew and Charlie.
