Lawrence Zelle
Larry co-founded the firm in 1988 and was co-managing partner until 1999. Larry has extensive experience in virtually every area of insurance law. He has been involved in the resolution of a variety of coverage issues between policyholder/insurer, insurer/insurer and cedent/reinsurer. He has handled coverage disputes and/or bad faith claims involving almost every type of property policy, including boiler & machinery, business interruption, HPR forms, excess and surplus lines, fidelity, and various broker or company authored manuscript forms. Larry has been involved in coverage litigation, arbitration or trial/appeal throughout the United States and many foreign countries and has also been lead counsel in numerous subrogation cases, particularly claims arising out of large industrial losses. He has participated in drafting revisions or modifications to insurance contracts on behalf of clients. Larry frequently speaks at seminars, conducts workshops and has served on several industry panels dealing with general and specific insurance related issues.
