Rogers to Present on Appraisal at the Connecticut Bar Association's Insurance Law Section Seminar

Zelle Hofmann Partner Stephen Rogers will present on the topic "Appraisal – An Alternative to Litigating Damages Under Property Insurance Policies" during an upcoming Connecticut Bar Association - Insurance Law Section seminar.  While most property insurance claims go relatively smoothly, disagreements can arise. After a brief overview of property insurance coverages and the loss adjustment process, this seminar will address how disagreements over the amount of loss can be resolved more quickly and at less cost without litigation via the appraisal process provided for in property policies. The seminar will be held on March 22, 2011 in New Haven, Connecticut.
