Rory Zamansky to Present on Social Media: How to Avoid Risks and Protect Your Business

April 26, 2016

On Tuesday, April 26, 2016, Rory Zamansky, a partner in Zelle's Minneapolis office, will co-present on the topic “Social Media: How to Avoid Risks and Protect Your Business” as part of Q University’s Small Business Education Series. The presentation will be hosted by Twin Cities Quorum and will take place at the Sabathani Community Center in Minneapolis.

Social media creates both great opportunity and great risk for businesses over the last decade.  It can be a valuable tool for marketing, a resource for recruiters to identify and research candidates, and offers opportunities to promote company culture. However, use and misuse of social media can have legal consequences for businesses and employers of all sizes.  This seminar will address legal pitfalls surrounding use of social media in marketing and in the workplace.

Q University is a business education series designed to provide Twin Cities Quorum members with opportunities for practical real-time information and training on a variety of topics related to advancing small businesses. These free education sessions offer networking, troubleshooting and "hands on" learning with other LGBTA entrepreneurs, employees and business leaders. For more information, or to register for the presentation, visit Quorum’s website.
