We have recovered in excess of a quarter of a billion dollars on behalf of our insurance company clients and their insureds. Through our national presence and strong local counsel network, we have successfully pursued subrogation claims throughout the United States and in many foreign countries.
Zelle Hofmann specializes in subrogation arising from major catastrophic events, including fires, hurricanes, industrial explosions, and terrorist actions. For much of the past decade, Zelle Hofmann attorneys have led the Plaintiffs Executive Committee pursuing a $5 billion subrogation action against aviation security companies alleged to be responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attack. This historic litigation was recently settled for $1.2 billion, reportedly the largest subrogation recovery ever obtained by the insurance industry.
