Webinar: Social Media in the Workplace

August 19, 2015

Social media has created great opportunity and great risk for employers over the last decade.  It can be a valuable tool for recruiters as they identify and research candidates, and offers opportunities to promote company culture.  It also offers a platform for employees whose posts can create workplace stress, harm their employer's reputation, or even create employer liability.  Use and misuse of social media can have legal consequences for employers and employees alike.

Please join us from Noon-1:00 CDT on Wednesday, August 19 for a webinar on social media in the workplace. We'll discuss the following:

1.  How employee use of social media impacts the workplace.

2.  How employers can use social media to their advantage.

3.  How to avoid the legal pitfalls surrounding social media in the workplace.

Attendees will learn practical strategies and receive draft policy language that will encourage acceptable use of social media in the workplace.
