Zelle® Marketing Guidelines

The Registered Trademark Symbol ®

Use of the Zelle® trademark in copy or text should include the registered trademark symbol (" ® ") to provide public notice of registration of the mark.

For the wordmark, always use the ® symbol on the first or most prominent appearance of the mark, and for longer materials exceeding five (5) pages, once per page is sufficient. For the logo, always include the ® symbol with each logo use.

To ensure proper use of the Zelle® trademarks:

• Use the trademark as an adjective (e.g., The Zelle® payment service)
• Do not use the trademark as a common noun (e.g., Use a Zelle to send money)
• Do not use the trademark as a verb (e.g., Just Zelle it!)
• Do not use the trademark in possessive or plural form (e.g., Zelle's benefits are great or We sent multiple Zelles)
• Do not modify or use the trademark in compound form (e.g., myZelle, or Zelle-powered)
   

Trademark Disclosure

Include the following disclosure in assets that use the Zelle® trademarks:

Zelle, the Zelle related marks, and the color purple are registered trademarks or otherwise claimed by Early Warning Services, LLC.
 

Approved Messaging

The following phrases may be used along with the Zelle® logo. Select the messaging most appropriate for your individual business. Note that “Zelle®” should always start with a capital “Z” and the rest of the word should be lowercase.

Receiving Payments (i.e. a corporate disbursement):

• Sign up to receive money with Zelle®.
• Receive payments with Zelle®.
• Get paid with Zelle®.
• Get money in the moment.
• Receive money directly into your account with Zelle®.
• With Zelle®, money goes directly into your account.
• Zelle® is fast and easy.

Sending Payments (i.e. to a business):

• I accept Zelle®.
• Zelle® accepted here.
• We accept payments with Zelle®.
• Zelle® payments accepted here.
• Send with Zelle®.
• Send money directly from your bank account using Zelle®.
• Zelle® is fast and easy.

Transferring Money Between Owned Accounts:

• Transfer money with Zelle®.
• Use Zelle® to transfer money into your account.
• Move money directly between accounts with Zelle®.

The Zelle® Logo

The Zelle® logo has been added to a background, creating a “badge” and must always appear with the registration symbol (“®”), sizing, padding, and colors indicated below.

Size:

• Minimum width x height: 53 (w) px x 31 (h) px
• When using the Zelle® badge for any consumer facing material, follow the minimum height and width requirements.
• Allow the background to extend to maintain the integrity of the badge design.

Padding

The minimum clear space for the Zelle® badge is 1/4 of the height of the badge on all sides and corners.
